Chairman Report: None
Vice Chairman Report: None
Treasurer Report: See attached Financial Record 1-1-05 to 12-31-08. Foreign Fire Tax
information book will be kept in the BC's office. Motion to accept the Treasurers report
by Jim Miller, 2nd by Phil Buffalo. 5 Ayes, 0 No.
Old Business: Jim Flory reported on the collection of funds directly from the
companies vs. going through IML. Flory and Grandgeorge are continuing to investigate
the process as to how we will need to go about doing this.
New Business: President Foehring presented a submittal from Jim Kuhar. The
submittal was past the deadline so we will only be discussing the submittal at this time.
The request is for Rosetta Stone (Spanish) for all three stations. Deputy Chief Malcolm
will check with the Chief to see if this could be purchased through the Village's budget.
The majority of the firefighters in attendance felt this would be very beneficial to
enhance our communications.
