Call to meeting 0835.
Members present: B. Lambel, T. Novak, M. Kowalczyk, M. Pastori, A. Grandgeorge
Members absent: M. Murphy, T. Evans
Treasurers Report: Collection for the year was approx. $81,560.49. Currently trying to get direct
access to the FFTB account with Finance.
Secretary: Approval of minutes from 10/18/16 meeting. Motion to approve by B. Lambel. 2nd by
A. Grandgeorge. Unanimous approval.
New Submittals: Submittal by B. Loomis for loaner residential knox boxes. Currently have a
shortage of boxes to loan out to residents meeting requirements. New boxes will would fill that
void. Cost is $4350. Sole source provider reason is detailed in a memo attached to the
submittal.
Motion to approve by T. Novak. 2nd by B. Lambel. Unanimous approval.
Submittal by W. Echart for five portable scene lights to be used on the investigation vehicles
and an extra for a front line fire apparatus. Air One had the lowest bid at$2625.00. The lights
had been used previously and performed well.
Motion to approve by B. Lambel. 2nd by T. Novak. Unanimous approval.
Submittal by T. Novak for a turnout gear washer for use at ST.12. Will fit in the space with
additional mechanical work done by public works. Trough system required for drainage is
included in price. Soap is not.
Motion to approve a Unimac Unco030HNF for $5480 from Washburn by B. Lambel. 2nd by M.
Pastori. Motion passed 4-1. A. Grandgeorge was Ione No vote.
Old Business: Prior to the next collection the board needs to update the form we send to
companies. The form should clarify why and where the tax is utilized.
Grandgeorge- Still working on setting up an easier way to send the form and also to receive
funds with email address and electronic deposit. Dave Erb implies the direct deposit can be set
up easily.
