MOUNT PROSPECT FOREIGN FIRE TAX BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Meeting called to order at0835
Officer’s Report
Nothing to report
Treasurer-B/C Grandgeorge assisting J. East in position. We collected $82,425.56
which is about $20,000 more than previous years.
Secretary-Approval of minutes from the meeting on June 11, 2015.

Old Business
Hose testing is done, unknown if bill has been paid
New Business
Joe Reschke talked about the proposal for 15 recliners for station 12 & 13. Joe
recommended La-Z-Boy as they will give a 40% discount. Motion made by R.
Christensen to accept La-Z-Boy proposal in the amount of $14,497.69, second by T.
Novak
Due to the retirement of Chief Malcolm, D/C Lambel was promoted to Chief and takes
the place on the board, thereby creating an open position. The open position (B/C) will
stay open due to short time until elections
Elections are to be held for 4 positions. They are as follows: Lieutenant (Peterson)
Firefighter (East)
At Large (Christensen)
B/C or above (1 yr term)
Nomination will start soon for 30 days, then voting for 30 days.
